Once Every Hundred Years Recording

The live recording of the concert of Once Every Hundred Years performed at 54 Below last November is scheduled for release by Center Stage Records on September 18th, 2026. 

It never crossed my mind that one day we’d announce the release of a William Finn – Danny Ursetti album on a website created in anticipation of the release of Regretting Almost Everything, but here we are! 

Once Every Hundred Years, lyrics by William Finn, music by Danny Ursetti, with creative support from me, and an album co-produced by me and Danny, and executive produced by me. 

It is Bill’s final work. Like everything Bill wrote, it is unpredictable, angry, philosophical, funny, beautiful, gross, moving, and joyful. Danny’s music is equally virtuoisic: inspired, melodic, unpredictable, playful and moving. A perfect collaboration of two singular voices.
